Lent 2012: Real Forgiveness

If you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgression (Mathew 6:15).

When we are talking about forgiveness, we are not really talking about things like someone dent my car in the parking lot and left or someone cut you in freeway. These are very easy to forgive. 


So what really is Forgiveness. Assume your kid gets hurt because of someones carelessness or one of your close relative is hurt by someone etc. 


The question is, what will you do if you are in simlar situation. Will you forgive that person who hurt your kid or spouse or parent etc. God is looking for a true forgiveness here from US which exceed our human nature. As God forgive us without any exception or expectation, we have to forgive others like Him.


It is not easy to do that. If you are in similar situation then the best thing is to pray. Prayer is the best way to start forgiveness in anyones life. Without Gods help we cannot forgive others.
