Monday, March 19, 2012 - Solemnity of St. Joseph

We don’t have much information about St. Joseph in Bible. We can see his presence in few verses in the first part of the gospels. But in those phrases, God called him as “Just”. It is a wonderful and great to be called as Just Man especially from Gods mouth. Next to Mother Mary, Saint Joseph is the most praised and wonderful saint of all times. He always followed the guidance of God without any question.

He is called ‘Patron Saint of Universal Church”. The reason for naming him as the patron of universal church is that he protects Mother Mary and Jesus all through their life.

He is also called as Patron of Workers.

Saint Joseph had two feasts (March 19^th and May 1^st).
