Stewardship on our self

Steward means someone who manages property or other affairs for someone else. In the Bible Jesus talked about the “Parable of the Unjust Steward”. But the most important is to steward our self. So how do we steward our self

1. Daily prayer: It is the most important part of your life. You should spend a few minutes speaking to God. You can spend this time when you are going to work or taking a shower or just before you sleep. These few minutes will give you the necessary strength for the day.

2. Mass is the next: You should attend the mass every Sunday. The ceremonies in Mass have different sections and have its own importance. Most of our sins will be forgiven during the prayers and breaking the bread. Please note it’s not the Mass that cleanses our sins, it’s our prayers and making peace with God that cleanses our sins.

3. Confession: The last, but not the least is Confession. Confession is mandatory at least once in a year. Most of our sins will be forgiven during the mass and daily prayers. But it is recommended to do confession when you commit deadly sins. This is a way to bring self-awareness and to make yourself feel light - like when you share a burden with a friend or family.
